What is a business plan?

To develop your business and receive financial stability, you will need to have a business plan. A business plan is an explanation about your business and what your business is going to provide to the community. Whether you are providing a service or a product, your business plan will have to sell to the lender you want to receive financial support from.

Include in your business plan how you are going to allow your business to grow and develop into a large company. Include the employees that you would like to hire and what they will be doing. Some of the employees and departments that you will want to include are:

·         Account receivable

·         Accounts payable

·         Human resource

·         Project Managers

·         Marketing

·         Business development

Within your business plan include the mission statement you business is going to follow and uphold to. The mission statement that you create will give your business direction and will also give your employees direction to follow. Your business will create a path that your employees will follow, include that path in your mission statement.

As your business plan becomes complete and you receive different opportunities for your business and the financial strength that is required, build your business plan as your business grows. Include different projects that you business has worked on and how your business has developed relationships with different clients. You will be able to share this information with the financial lenders you work with in the future and also share your business plan with future clients. The more successful your business plan is to view, the more work your business will receive and will continue to grow.

Start your business plan with your business in mind. The more creative and memorable your business is, the more stable your business will become.
